Ovidiu Ioan Dumitru
Assoc. Prof. PhD.
Ovidiu Ioan Dumitru, the Dean of the Facultry of Law, holds a law degree from the Nicolae Titulescu University and an economics degree from the Bucharest University of Economic Studies. He completed his Master’s in Business Law in 2004 and earned a PhD in Legal Sciences in 2011. In 2016, he successfully finished an Executive MBA at the Vienna University of Business & Economics.
Ovidiu has completed numerous postgraduate programs in law and management, including courses in International and Community Law, European Integration, Quality Management Systems, Environmental Management Systems, EU Policies, and Competition Law. He has been a faculty member at ASE Bucharest since 2004, teaching Business Law, Commercial Law, EU Law, and Contract Law in both Romanian and English.
He has organized over 20 scientific conferences, served as a moderator and keynote speaker at various national and international events, and is the editor-in-chief of two specialized journals. Additionally, he has been involved in several research grants. Ovidiu has been a lawyer at the Bucharest Bar since 2004 and served as a deputy in the Romanian Parliament from 2012 to 2016, focusing on education legislation.
He is a founding member or associate of various professional associations, including the Romanian Construction Law Association (President), European Society of Construction Law (Board Member), Romanian Business Law Association, International Bar Association (IBA), European Legal English Teachers Association (ELETA), and European Corporate Governance Institute.
Andreea Stănciulescu
Assist. prof. PhD.
Andreea Stănciulescu (Alexe) is a university assistant professor with a Ph.D. at the Faculty of Law of the Bucharest University of Economic Studies. In this capacity, she conducts seminar teaching activities in various study programs at the Bucharest University of Economic Studies, both at the Faculty of Law and other faculties within the university. She teaches courses in European Union Law, European Business Law, and Business Law, in Romanian, English, and German.
She is a graduate of the Faculty of Law at the „Nicolae Titulescu” University and the Faculty of Letters at the University of Bucharest, with a double specialization in Romanian Language and Literature and German Language and Literature. She completed her doctoral studies at the University of Craiova. Her doctoral thesis was awarded the „Anibal Teodorescu” Prize in 2019 by the Union of Romanian Jurists for public law works other than those in criminal law.
Andreea has over 15 years of professional experience in publishing and is currently the Editorial Director of Wolters Kluwer Romania. She has published numerous specialized studies in constitutional law and European Union law.
In her research activities, she has been involved in organizing international scientific conferences and serves as coordinating editor for two specialized journals, as well as being on the editorial board of other recognized legal science journals.
